We also believe that we have a responsibility to help provide a safety net for our community members. So each year we provide at least one free roof/no-profit roof to less fortunate community members and support organizations like Community Action and Michelle’s Love.

Spruce Up Northwest is committed to environmental sustainability, demonstrated by our use of Malarkey shingles. Unlike standard roofing shingles, Malarkey shingles are made of rubberized asphalt, upcycled rubber, smog-reducing granules, and plastics that provide superior all-weather resilience, but also reduce landfill waste and help clean the air.

“Roof sweat” refers to the accumulation of moisture on the underside of a roof, typically in attics or spaces directly beneath the roof. Preventing roof sweat is important for mold and mildew growth, structural integrity, energy efficiency, damage to other personal property, and more.  

Make sure that the attic or roof space is adequately ventilated to allow moisture to escape and add proper insulation to help regulate temperature differences between the interior and exterior of the home building, reducing the likelihood of condensation forming on the underside of the roof. Regularly inspect the roof for any signs of damage or leaks and promptly repair them to prevent water infiltration.
